Learner Driver Lessons

              As a fully qualified ADI (Approved Driving Instructor), running my own driving school, I consider I have a responsibility to all
             new drivers. I believe it is important to establish a good working relationship as soon as possible so that effective learning can
             take place.

             One of my main aims is to take you, the learner, through the complete DSA syllabus so that
you are equipped with all the skills
             not just to pass your driving test, but safe driving for life. The DSA state, "Those who pass their driving test have had, on
             average, about 45 hours
of professional training combined with 22 hours of private practice. Learners who prepare this  way,
             together with a combination of  plenty of professional training and plenty of practice, do better in the test."

             However, we are all different, and some will learn at a faster pace. I can offer you;

                       *  One to one personal instruction
                       *  Times and collection points to suit you

                       *  A clean, modern, fully insured, dual-controlled car that is a pleasure to drive

                       *  Help with your theory and hazard perception test, and more...

                       *  A calm, friendly, patient style of teaching designed to totally put you at your ease...

                       *  Flexible learning at a pace to suit you.

              I'd just like to mention a few things that will help you prepare for your first lesson. When we first meet, I would like you to;

                       * Show me your driving licence, and be sure to check mine out...
                       * Have some form of payment with so you can pay me at the beginning of the lesson..
                       * Go to the "terms" page and read, sign, and print off a copy to give to me at first meeting..
                       * Be wearing comfortable clothes/shoes - no sandals or high heels..
                       * Make sure you are below the legal limit for alcohol - so no partying the night before...
                       * Wear your glasses, if you need them - I will be checking your eyesight...
                       * Let me know if there are any health problems that I need to be aware of..

Thanks! I look forward to meeting you, Helen Adams ADI
